G. W. F. Hegel por Fernando Savater en: "La aventura del pensamiento" - ...



El prestigioso filósofo español Fernando Savater transmite, en este ciclo, su pasión por el pensamiento. La aventura del pensamiento presenta grandes nombres de la filosofía universal, relatando los momentos destacados de la vida y obra de cada filósofo. Cada capítulo está ilustrado con material de archivo, locaciones y material producido específicamente. Las biografías cuentan con cuatro intervenciones de Savater, quien aporta su particular percepción y conocimiento sobre el filósofo tratado.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (Stuttgart, 27 de agosto de 1770 -- Berlín, 14 de noviembre de 1831), filósofo alemán nacido en Stuttgart, Württemberg, recibió su formación en el Tübinger Stift (seminario de la Iglesia Protestante en Württemberg), donde trabó amistad con el futuro filósofo Friedrich Schelling y el poeta Friedrich Hölderlin. Le fascinaron las obras de Platón, Aristóteles, Descartes, Spinoza, Kant, Rousseau, así como la Revolución Francesa, la cual acabó rechazando cuando ella cayó en manos del terror jacobino. Se le considera el último de los Más Grandes Metafísicos. Murió víctima de una epidemia de cólera, que hizo estragos durante el verano y el otoño de 1831.
